This 8’x4′ portable layout was constructed with the idea of providing a simple tailchaser to increase track capacity for the junior running session. Spectators drive it at open days, and this has proved very popular with children.

General view of the layout. It does not currently have a name. Spectators are allowed to drive at club open days, and this has proved very popular. There are 2 independent circuits, each with a loop so that 4 trains can be accomodated. Scenic treatment is somewhat limited at present, and consists mostly of removeable sections that can be worked on off the layout. This allows for ease of working on them, as well as for future upgrading by simply removing and replacing individual sections.
